Back to Petrópolis
He? Packing the bags? Not really what I wanted to do. But our stay here already came to an end.
At breakfast, one of the other guests recognised me from the restaurant from the day before. Thus, we talked. He knew more people in the valley from Germany and also from Holland (they are just everywhere, aren’t they?).
Our trip back to Petrópolis needed to be a bit speeded up… Ana had a meeting to attent. At the home of Felipes parents, we picked up my stuff, I left there because I didn’t needed it in Matutu.
Time to get settled in the next hotel. This time simple, clean and again close to all the activities. Time for homework, before I started to explore the surroudings.
The first walk was to the Crystal Palace. The Chocolate Festival was a big contrast to the serenity of the last days. Just across the street from there, at a kind of German place: Bauernfest. Consumption, consumption, consumption! Shocking, coming back from the valley.

The Liberty plain was a bit quiter. Back in the neighbourhood of the hotel, I took a bit in a cafeteria (also here, fresh food and salads:). With warmth and attention, the staff helped me through my languagebarrier.
Back in the hotel, I needed time for reflection.
