Going up and down hill – Valbonë valley

We didn’t do a full hike, today. We just followed the road starting at our guesthouse. Went uphill, through some woods. We had a little break a a kind of pasture… no fence, but two horses, a cold camp fire and some foundations for … something. We watched some birds (there are not as much as we would expect), the old pines in the forrest are just beautiful! The flora surprised us at some points. We smelled a foxes place. If you walk with you senses awake, there is so much to find!

Our lunch picknick, we had at the terras of the guesthouse. This place has such an amazing energy! The views are addictive. The peace unbeatable. The veggie garden is around the corner, the livestock free ranging. Only the puppy still has to learn how to behave 😉

After siesta we took the path downhill. The nature just keeps giving! Sounds, views, creators, waterways, smells. Every step good for another surprise. Nothing else needed. Just BE!
