Chances to develop in Petrópolis
This day, we needed an early start. Another great place had to be discoverd (by me). It’s still a bit a construction side, but with the vision shared by Ana and Felipe – great possibilities. Just at the edge between town and National Parc, uphill (of course).
As it is a bit a construction side, we stopped at a few shops to pick up materials, which are needed for the next steps. And at a local organic farm for produces.
Meanwhile, we had driven for about 45 minuts, and still we were in Petrópolis. The city stretches along the river, climbing up the dosseling steep hillsides, mostly rocks. Where the rocks are a bit covered with mud, you see vegetable fields and flower farms. The last once are highly into pesticide use and light polution for prolonging the days for their plants. A point of concern. Here, at the edge of the national parc (and also otherwise). There aren’t even a kind of proper roads for the logistics. Bizar.

Some abandoned farms are for sale, maybe a good oppertunity to bring them more on an ecological path. But prices are high, so close to the city.
The spot for the (future) workshopcenter is the last piece of land before the National Parc. One of the trails here goes even onto Rio. Might take a while to reach the city 🙂 Felipe showed me around, drawing their hopes and wishes into the landscape. Talking about dreams, plans, actions and moments to celebrate. Sounds familiar?
We had another great lunch, a neighbour dropped by to say hi.
Back in the hotel, it was back to homework. And a quick bite of streetfood in the evening.
By the way, my dear friends from our dougnut-foundation, came by before I left home, to give me some love and travel gifts. One is a challenge: a set of cards to choose one once in a while, with an assignment on it. Great cards, sofar! 😀
