Had sent some flowers and presents to my birthday girl. Went well, despite the distance 🙂 Happy birthday! For quite some other reasons, this morning like hours the dayes before, disapeared. Couldn’t spent a minute on my quest. Also here, I did my homework om the terras, looking out over the grounds and the valley. […]
And again: waking up with the sounds of the Atlantic Rainforest. And the dogs of the neigbours. Felipe and the children already got to school. From the ecovillage here at the edge of the town, it is still an half hour drive to the city. After breakfast I took a first walk through community property […]
This was the day of our travels to Viçosa. From the learning journey proposal: Now, our journey will lead to the city of Viçosa, also in the state of Minas Gerais, where Dragon Dreaming is being practiced since 2012 at Universidade Federal de Viçosa, connected to the Agroecology and Popular Education movements. It is taught […]
This day, we needed an early start. Another great place had to be discoverd (by me). It’s still a bit a construction side, but with the vision shared by Ana and Felipe – great possibilities. Just at the edge between town and National Parc, uphill (of course). As it is a bit a construction side, […]
He? Packing the bags? Not really what I wanted to do. But our stay here already came to an end. At breakfast, one of the other guests recognised me from the restaurant from the day before. Thus, we talked. He knew more people in the valley from Germany and also from Holland (they are just […]
Softly, I crossed from a very nice dream into the daylight, louring through the window. Love it, when the first sunlight tingels you to wake up. The cold, sunny wintermorning determend my pace. Had another, a bit delayed breakfast (because the stove had given up, and they make everything for the breakfast themselfs … bread, […]
Matutu. The landscape. The energy here. Synchronosity. The light, warmth, attention. It’s less than 48 hours. And the place has a save spot in my heart. The relationship isn’t recibrocal, yet. Maybe, this day will bring some change. I started in the same slow rithm as the day before. For my walk to the resception […]
Day 3 What a day! Watching the Sunrise above the mountains from te bed, I started the day really slow. Time was at the same pace. Birds started to announce the light, the cold of the night (we had 2 *C) started to disappear. A short shower, some socials and off to breakfast I went. […]
Day 2 Today, we drove from Petrópolis up to Matutu Valley. On the way, we had the usual road lunch in a bufetstyle restaurant. In those restaurants along the road you pay eather a fixed price or the weight of what you have put on your plate. A lunch is mostly somewhere between €4 and […]

As it is a journey for gaining insights, it will become a mixed story. Be prepared! Day 1 Earlier this week, I recieved the basic program for the – let’s […]
