Arrival and introduction to the Matutu Valley
Day 2
Today, we drove from Petrópolis up to Matutu Valley. On the way, we had the usual road lunch in a bufetstyle restaurant. In those restaurants along the road you pay eather a fixed price or the weight of what you have put on your plate. A lunch is mostly somewhere between €4 and €7. The quality of the food is amazing! Good, tasty, fresh, half of the bufet is salads. Could be a good reference for European road restaurants.
A second stop was for gazoline. And a coffee. Minas Gerais is famous for its coffee and dairy. Loved the coffee.
The last stop on the road was in Aiuruoka for some last groceries. The shop was half (asian) spiritual and organic cloth and half organic food. Got some good snacks. And up to the valley we drove.

We reached the pousada for me to stay after dark. Still, I was deeply impressed. Had a lovely soup at the reception and got settled in my chalet. We are here for the next three days. In this place, I could easily stay two month.
On the way up, in the car, we talked about basics of Dragon Dreaming:
– It’s a participatory, consensual, regenerative, and systemic approach to project development.
– It works with Weaving Songlines. This is a guided process to share personal stories and life journeys and the connections to this work.
– Identifying the values that guide our work and collecting key insights from previous reflections to prepare the ground for collective dreaming.
