A bit of Perth
Perth has free buses for the city center! I love that. There are 5 different rounds, covering more than the Hop-on/hop-off in this town (which, honesty, when I looked at the plans, has not that much to offer, anyway).
I started at Elizabeth Quay. Everything between modern, vibrant, high tech and… a bit shabby. Has certainly a good vibe. And then, Perth is a city with a good vibe. You see people socialise everywhere. There are lots of activities. Lots of green. The Swan River has a lot to contribute to the mix. It’s a big city, and yet, I haven’t seen a part, which would be faceless, without any character. Quite special. Even in between the skyscrapers, you find a lot of very old trees, shade, art which add warmth to the place (not in temperature … it’s hot enough, anyway), but in livelihood.
I took another bus to Kings Park. Nice Botanic Garden, some walk ways, from Fraigier Square an amazing view over the city. I didn’t make it too late … I had to prepare for another midnight call.
