Foz Iguaçu
Right after breakfast our driver picked us up to take us to the airport. Today is about getting to Foz Iguaçu. All the time on the way to the airport our driver didn’t stop talking about Rio and what we saw on our way. Earlier, he was a teacher. No kidding. You have to love his spirit for the city!
The service from Evaneos is great! On the way to the airport we got our boarding tickets on our phone. Just like that, they did our check-in online. Didn’t expect that! Just awesome. The flight itself was good, with the (usual?) Brazilian tranquility. The next driver picked us up at the terminal in Fox Iguaçu and dropped us at our hotel; we made some arrangements for the next days. The hotel is some kind of ecolodge. They do blow fallen leafs near the pool with a carbon motor blower. But they also have a little trail trough a planted Atlantic forest, some veggie plots and some rustic sitting areas. Take your pick.
The dinner buffet is partly filled with veggies from the garden, but also very meat-driven. Love the local wine!
