Last time switching places in New Zealand
My bus to Queenstown left in the early afternoon. After check out, I brought my luggage to the iCenter (visitors information) to store for the hours I got left in Wanaka. A last walk along the other side of the lake, watched the eals under the landing stage of one of the boatservices, had a bit of lunch and got on my way.
We had the same driver as two days ago, now with a different bus. He didn’t stop that much on this tour; he kept warnig us on time for everytime it was worthwhile to get the camera ready. He didn’t bather about the traffic behind us; slowed down though everybody got a good chance for a picture. Assume, it’s quite common to do so here.
In Queenstown, you easily can get an Uber or a taxi. This time, my accomodation was just around the corner from the busstop 🙂
What a nice vibe in this place! Thriving, cozy, vibrant, not noisy. Just along another big lake, surrounded by steep mountains, with a bit more snow every day.
In the evening, I explored the beach, the warf, the little kirky corners in the CBD.
