Heading home
Suitcases are packed, we checked in at the airline.
But before we left Tallinn, we brought a visit to the KUMU in the Kadriorg quarter, just a quick tour of one hour through Estonian art. Interesting was the combination of international trends and new art styles in paintings and plastics with the historic influences different van main stream. For instance, during the Deep Recession on Europe, the economic situations found its way into art. At the same time, Estonia was free for the very first time, quite a different point of view at daily life. Only, even for getting a first impression of 5000m2 exposition, one hour isn’t nearly enough!
But we couldn’t take more time… had to reach the airport for our flight back home.
