Leaving Europe, for now
It was half pas 3, this morning, when I finished packing my stuff. Set the alarm for a bit later… to getting the holiday feeling of sleeping in. Around noon, I left for the train to the airport. Everything went smoothly, catched a connection in Düsseldorf, the travel planner claimed to be impossible. And reached the airport 2 hours earlier then planned.
My travel companion arrived within 10 minutes from the opposite direction of the country. We never spoke about the trains we intended to use. But we have a kind of synchronosoty, that makes this type of conversation obsolete. For years, we arrive at the same time on the most distant places without talking about our travelplans for the inbound.
We had a chat and a snack, a little drink, some eyes on the public and worked up our holiday mood. Just another hour, and we take off for Rio de Janeiro. How will our first day in Brazil be, tomorrow? Wait and see.
